Collection contains vast information on the family history of Keeler and his wife, Virginia Christensen. Included in the collection are pedigrees, family group records, books of remembrance, and binders full of family information gathered from various places in the country, notably Utah and New Jersey. Most of the information in this collection is handwritten by Keeler. The collection also includes documentation related to Keeler's church callings. His handwritten notes show the happenings of the Provo 8th Ward in the Provo East Stake. There is a history of the 8th ward, including family histories of long-time ward members from the creation of the ward to the late 1950s. This information is typed and bound. Finally, the collection contains records of the Church work done in the Provo 8th Ward, including temple work and church attendance.

Daniel Mandeville Keeler (1900-1990) was a local Mormon leader in Utah. Daniel Mandeville Keeler, son of Joseph Brigham and Martha Alice Fairbanks Keeler, was born in Provo, Utah, October 28, 1900. Joseph Brigham Keeler (1855-1935) was one of the original twenty-nine students of Brigham Young Academy and later served on the faculty for thirty-six years.
